Who’s Your Muse?
Who or what makes you want to do art? For some, it’s intoxication brought about by love, a good mood, the weather or nature. Many enjoy the cool breeze sitting outside in Central Park or Astoria Park. For others still, it is just a smile or good-natured person who encourages them to put brush to paper.
Then there are the desperate stress relievers hunched up behind a computer all day lusting-for art that is. Their work may be important, but let’s face it-no one’s work ought to keep them locked up for more than 10hrs at a time. They, and they know who they are (I was one), search for the artistic connection they lack. Luckily these days there are support groups on Craig’s List to help you regain this lost connection.
Even those who otherwise know nothing about art know of the man with the Fro in the 80s with his wand and oil paint who melted his pbs audience with his soft voice and inspired so many. He made painting look easy!
